Where are the dead? Where does the Christian go when he dies? According to the Power 2017 Lectures on the End of Time presented by the Southaven Church of Christ, Southaven, MS, man goes to the same place under the gospel that he did under the law when he dies. Don Blackwell teaches that men go to wait in Hades for the end of time without a body at death. This contradicted the teaching of Gus Nichols who debated Max King in 1972 on the subject of Christ’s coming. He bases his views on Luke 16 and other traditions.
