The prophets scratched their heads, trying to figure it out. The angels yearned to know. Both were told, “Go your way; it pertains to the time of the end.” See Daniel 12:5–10.
They all wanted to know what God was doing. Imagine what it must have been like when Jesus put off His royal robes, left heaven, and became a human! a baby!
They wanted to know. Peter’s audience lived through the drama, embraced the mystery, and faced the fiery trial. Malachi and Jesus promised a fire. Those who endured to the end–Daniel 12 & Matthew 24–would stand on their inheritance.
We get to look back and see and understand all that they looked for and went through. Let us join together in seeing what it looks like!
