Tonight we critique Gene Hill’s Bellview Lecture on Daniel 9 and his claim that all of the elements fulfilled in Jesus’ ministry and Passion and how this harmonizes with his claim that Daniel was fulfilled in the fall of Jerusalem in AD 70. Was the Abomination of Desolation fulfilled in Daniel’s 70 Weeks?
We’ll take a look at Matthew 16:27-28 and examine whether the versus are or can be divided into two or more events. The tradition of the Spirit came in power on Pentecost and the establishment of the kingdom of Christ, throne of Christ, without end — Isaiah 9.
We’ll check this out in light of the statement that Christ will surrender the throne at his coming and “This plane of existence will no longer exist” and the earthly domain of the kingdom will cease to exist.
When was Matthew 25:31 fulfilled and who are all the nations. John 5 “all that are in the graves” all means all and its’ relation to the 70 Weeks of Daniel and chaper 12. We’ll examine why funerals are yet being preached.
