Deceptive forces today have led many unsuspecting hearers into false conclusions; just as in Paul’s day. He said “Let no man in any way decive you.” It is a great warning!
We’re zeroing in on: Who was the man of sin? We already saw about the gathering. And recall, the apostasy was from Moses, not from Jesus! All of this continues, however, to provide grist for speculative milling. Let’s see what we can do to “connect the dots” as God intended.
But, that is always a matter for honest hearts and depth of quality study. Paul warned that God would send a deluding influence upon everyone who doesn’t love the truth! An unwillingness to change conclusions when change is warranted dooms one to hold fast to error…and be left wondering and confused.
