From Luke’s propositional beginning–“Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?” (Acts 1:6)–to his dramatic conclusion–“Let it be known to you therefore, that this salvation of God has been sent to the Gentiles; they will also listen.” (Acts 28:28)–he traces the history of God reaching into history to save whomever would respondĀ and to restore Israel’s kingdom to Messianic Glory.
Our podcast this week will trace Lukes trace. We’ll touch on the mountain peaks of conclusion and focal points of discussion that carry Luke’s premise for to the ultimate conclusion in 28:28. As Jesus foretold in 1:8, the evidence of God’s Restoration spread like magnificent waves across the Great Sea: first the news went to Jerusalem; then it reached Judea and Samaria; and kept advancing until Paul arrived in the “remotest part” (Rome).
In this one we will “connect” the dots and present Luke’s argument in brief. Join us,
