Are Preterists Futurists? This is a topic we began on last week and will continue tonight. It addresses the real issues between partial and full preterists. Kennth L. Gentry, Jr., uses the word preterist in a misleading way. He is not a full preterist. He uses preterist but really means partial preterist. He refers to full preterists, those who truly are preterists as “hyper-preterist” which is a pejorative term that is not our choosing or preference.

Nevertheless, we will show what the differences are between the views in the study tonight so there is no question as to who is a preterist and who is a partial preterist. We’ll also demonstrate that preterists are futurists.Gentry doesn’t like the term futurists (a term they have historically and approvingly used to refer to themselves), when it comes to their eschatology, yet that is precisely what it is. He will tell ou he does not believe all Bible prophecy has been fulfilled. He believes in a yet future return of Christ and the resurrection. That makes him a futurist.

We will offer more clarity and discussions from the Bible to support our claims. Turne in at 6pm. Visit DonKPreston.com or BibleProphecy.com and visit AllThingsFulfilled.com
